Pinboard ClipTerms of Use
These Terms of Use ("Terms") apply to the Pinboard Clip app for macOS (the "App"), made by Nguyen Van Long ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the App you agree to these Terms.
These Terms work together with Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Standard EULA"). If anything here conflicts with the Standard EULA, the Standard EULA applies.
1. License
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App on Apple devices that you own or control, as allowed by the App Store's Usage Rules. You may not copy, modify, resell or redistribute the App, or try to extract its source code.
2. Your content
Everything you copy remains yours. The App only stores it on your Mac so you can paste it again; we have no access to it. You are responsible for what you copy and paste, and for respecting the rights of others in that content.
3. Free trial and Pinboard Clip Pro
- The App can be downloaded for free. You can start a free 7-day trial of all Pro features. The trial costs nothing, is not a subscription and never charges or renews automatically.
- When the trial ends, the App keeps working in free mode: it shows only your 10 most recent items, and Quick Paste, search and adding favorites are locked. Your saved history is kept on your Mac.
- Pinboard Clip Pro is a one-time, non-consumable purchase that unlocks all features permanently. The price is shown in the App before you buy.
- The trial and Pro are tied to your Apple Account. Use "Restore Purchases" in the App to get Pro on your other Macs. Family Sharing may be available for Pro.
- Purchases are processed by Apple. Refunds are handled by Apple; you can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
4. Permissions
Some features use macOS permissions you choose to grant, such as Accessibility for auto-paste and folder access for files copied outside Finder. The App works without them, with those features limited. See our Privacy Policy for how they are used.
5. Acceptable use
Please don't misuse the App, for example by interfering with its operation or attempting to bypass purchases.

7. Disclaimer
The App is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranties beyond those in the Standard EULA. Clipboard history is stored only on your Mac, and we are not responsible for its loss, for example if the App or its data is deleted, or if older items are removed because of the history limit you set.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to the amount you paid for the App and in-app purchases in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms. The new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continuing to use the App after an update means you accept the new Terms.
